JOHN GRAHAME

John Grahame, a Denver native, and former professional athlete in the National Hockey League, transitioned into the business world becoming the VP of Business Development for TriWorth in 2012. John was promoted to Managing Director and his immediate impact was recognized by the Denver Business Journal as one of the top “40 under 40 Award Recipients in 2013” as they honored Denver’s young, dynamic and up-and-coming business visionaries.

 

John has had recruiting success in various industries including sports & entertainment, oil and gas, energy, construction services, manufacturing, technology and retail to name a few. To date, John has led his teams to the effective completion of over 500 placements equating more than $10 million in revenue. 

 

Previously, John earned great achievements during his 14-year career as a hockey player winning the Calder Cup in 1999 with the Providence Bruins and the prestigious Stanley Cup in 2004 with the Tampa Bay Lightning.  He also had the tremendous honor of being selected as a member of the USA Olympic Hockey Team in Torino, Italy in 2006.  In addition, his resume includes founding and creating Rorschach in 2009, a top tier wine with its unique story and inspiring label that successfully sold out of the entire 250 case production in less than a two-year span of time.  John attended Lake Superior State University on a full athletic scholarship studying business and communications.

 

John has been active in the community currently serving on the Board of Advisors for the ACE Scholarship Foundation as well as being involved with the Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation since 2001.  John, and his wife Niki, have three sons, Colton, Knox and Lucas and have made Denver their home.
